Harsh Goenka shares video of visually impaired students celebrating Dahi Handi | common

Janmashtami 2022: As the country teems with Janmashtami celebrations, people across the country vie to participate in the Dahi Handi ritual with the utmost passion. Harsh Goenka recently shared a video of one of these celebrations featuring students with disabilities on Twitter. Since its publication, it has won people’s hearts.

The tweet shared by Harsh Goenka shows visually impaired children at the Victoria Memorial School for the Blind in Mumbai. He posted the video on August 19 and wrote: “On the occasion of #Janmashtami, visually impaired children are performing at Victoria Memorial School for the Blind, a school where my wife works.”

The video has garnered over a thousand likes and retweets over a hundred times. Internet users praised the amazing performance of the visually impaired students. The one-minute video shows these students cautiously climbing onto each other while the youngest of them reaches the pot and smashes it.

One Twitter user commented, “I can proudly say that I am a former student at Victoria Memorial School for the Blind. Every little thing I have achieved in my life is because of my school. Mam has dedicated her life to our school. Sir, please pass my compliments to my mother.” The tweet received a response from the businessman and he tweeted, “Thanks. You made my day.”
